Who can join TML?
Regular members include any city or town in Texas. Associate members include councils of governments, libraries, civic clubs, individuals, or corporations.
Who is TML Region 14?
TML Region 14 – San Jacinto Region is comprised of a 17-county area which includes the counties of Austin, Brazoria, Chambers, Colorado, Fort Bend, Galveston, Grimes, Harris, Houston, Madison, Matagorda, Montgomery, San Jacinto, Trinity, Walker, Waller, and Wharton.
TML Region 14 covers a large area of the state that includes urban, suburban, and rural communities that are located along the coast and inland with each having their own unique set of challenges and similarities. Members work collaboratively with their communities to address their citizens’ needs and promote a regional approach to planning for the future.

A dedicated public servant, Sally has been a member of Friendswood City Council since 2017. She currently serves on the board of directors of the Houston-Galveston Area Council and the Community Economic Development Committee for Friendswood.
What are TML Region 14 Meetings and Workshops?
The TML Region 14 Meetings and Workshops now hosts 3 meetings a year where local municipal elected officials and their staff, along with other interested parties, gather to socialize, exchange ideas and gain information on relevant topics of interest.
Typically, a meeting consists of dinner and either a speaker or a social event. TML Meetings and Workshops focus on promoting effective regional cooperation and solution through interaction and education.
How is H-GAC Connected to TML Region 14?
The Houston-Galveston Area Council serves as the Secretary-Treasurer for TML Region 14 and partners with the region to host meetings and workshops to further the mission of both organizations to better serve the Gulf Coast region through the cooperative exchange of information and services.
TML Spring Meeting
The TML Region 14 Spring Meeting is our annual event where local municipal elected officials and their staff, along with other interested parties, gather to socialize and exchange ideas.
TML Summer Meeting
The TML Region 14 Summer Meeting & Workshop is typically a 2-day event where local municipal elected officials and their staff, along with other interested parties, gather to socialize, exchange ideas, gain information on relevant topics of interest and receive updates on legislative concerns. The Summer Meeting & Workshop focuses on promoting effective regional cooperation and solutions through interaction and education.
