H-GAC Board of Directors

The H-GAC Board of Directors is the governing body of H-GAC responsible for the general policies, programs, and services of the Houston-Galveston Area Council. The board comprises 37 locally elected officials representing the H-GAC’s 109 member cities, 13 member counties, and 11 school districts that are also members of the organization. As the regional planning organization, the board of directors and H-GAC staff work in tandem to guide regional growth and ensure the organization continues to provide quality services to the people who call our region home.
