Important Note
*Attendance of a 'How to Become a Film Friendly Texas Certified Community' workshop by a community representative, who will then go on to serve as the community’s designated Film Friendly Texas liaison for receiving and facilitating media production inquiries, is one of the required steps for Film Friendly Texas certification by the Texas Film Commission.
The Texas Film Commission advises communities to send members of their city government, Convention and Visitors Bureau, Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development Corporation, or a similar local government entity to attend the training workshop. While all are welcome to attend a workshop, a community’s designated Film Friendly Texas liaison must be employed by a division of the city’s local government.
