The goal of the study is to tie together existing plans, build upon past and current infrastructure improvements, improve pedestrian and bike infrastructure, greenspace amenities, and housing and economic development into a unified vision and implementation plan.
The Pasadena Livable Center Study will focus on the area roughly bounded by Richey Avenue to the west, Shaw Avenue to the north, Red Bluff Road as the eastern boundary, and Southmore Avenue as the southern boundary. The study area includes prominent buildings such as the Plaza Paseo Mall and the newly renovated Ventech office building that now houses the City of Pasadena's City Hall.
