H-GAC, in collaboration with regional stakeholders, is developing a Regional Safety Plan (RSP) to provide a framework for addressing the most prominent traffic safety issues in our region.
The plan requires continual collaboration and cooperation between numerous jurisdictions and agencies in the greater Houston-Galveston region and a commitment to making safety an upmost priority.
To communicate with residents and partner organizations about the plan's specific safety strategies and goals, H-GAC will hold a public meeting on July 25, 2018 from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Don't miss it!

Following a successful first round of public meetings held throughout the MPO's eight-county service area, H-GAC staff will soon seek proposals from local governments and other eligible sponsors to implement transportation projects for the 2018 TIP Call for Projects.
