Texas Children's Hospital 10th Annual Emergency Management Bridge Event

H-GAC Participated in the 10th Annual Emergency Management Bridge Event. This event showcased a wide range of hurricane and emergency preparedness resources and was a fun way to ensure that the 500 patients, families and staff who participated are well-informed about emergency preparedness in the workplace and at home. H-GAC staff distributed hurricane zip zone maps and Together Against the Weather materials to help people learn if they reside in a storm surge zone, how persons with disabilities and their families can prepare for natural disasters, and which evacuation routes to take if they chose to leave the region.
