Some of our mapping applications are also accessible using the ArcGIS for iPhone/iPad application developed by ESRI. The following is a brief overview of how to obtain the ArcGIS for iPhone/iPad application and view available mobile applications.
Step 1: Get the ArcGIS for iPhone/iPad
Visit the ESRI ArcGIS website to view information about how to use and download the application. You can also search for 'ArcGIS' via the App Store on your iPhone or iPad. The ArcGIS for iPhone/iPad is free and provided by ESRI.
Step 2: Set up a free ArcGIS.com Account (optional)
ESRI has launched the new ArcGIS.com website which provides users with connections to a variety of free map layers and services. The ArcGIS.com website is an online catalog for geographic data, where users can subscribe to groups and even create their own groups and maps using available data. By creating an ArcGIS.com account, you will be able to save or maps as Favorites within the ArcGIS for iPhone/iPad application.
Step 3: Connect to our maps using the ArcGIS for iPhone/iPad application (one-time only)
