The Houston-Galveston Area Council is committed to assuring non-discrimination in its programs and activities to the effect that no person shall on the grounds of race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, or income status be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination or retaliation under any federally or non-federally funded program or activity administered by the Houston-Galveston Area Council.
CONFLICT OF INTEREST QUESTIONNAIRE
Chapter 176 of the Texas Local Government Code requires vendors and consultants contracting or seeking to contract with H-GAC to file a conflict of interest questionnaire (CIQ) if they have an employment or other business relationship with an H-GAC officer or an officer’s close family member. The required questionnaire is located at the Texas Ethics Commission website http://www.ethics.state.tx.us/. H-GAC officers include its Board of Directors and Executive Director, who are listed on this website.
The CIQ must be completed and filed with a bid/proposal response if an employment or business relationship defined in the law exists.
