General Law Cities and Home Rule Cities with populations under 25,000 have recently made their designations of members for the 2016 H-GAC General Assembly. Delegates from both groups will meet in November to choose two Board Members and two Alternates to represent their respective groups on the 2016 H-GAC Board of Directors.
General Law Cities will meet on Thursday, November 5 and Home Rule Cities on Thursday, November 12.

The Houston-Galveston Clean Cities Coalition Stakeholder Meeting
| The HGCCC will be holding its quarterly stakeholder meeting, which is open to interested alternative fuel/technology vendors and fleet operators. The topics of discussion will be networking opportunities, available funding, and financial incentive programs for transitioning to alternative fuel technology. The coalition will be accepting input to draft its annual plan for helping members accomplish their goals. An advisory board will also be elected with representatives from private and public sector fleets, as well as different alternative fuels.|

Keeping Us Moving Workshop
This half-day event offers a collaborative forum around topics related to the Livable Centers and Pedestrian/Bicyclist programs at H-GAC. The program will include a luncheon with keynote speaker Adam Thies, former director of planning and development initiatives for the City of Indianapolis.
The workshop will also include two afternoon breakout sessions: Emerging Trends, highlighting technical and policy considerations in transportation planning; and Back to Basics, touching on planning, funding, and H-GAC tools available.

|Transportation Policy Council - Streaming Video|
| H-GAC is pleased to announce live streaming broadcasts of the TPC which began at the September 25, 2015 meeting. All future TPC meetings will be streamed live on the internet at their scheduled times. They will then be archived after the event in case you missed it or wish to see it again. |

|2016 Aerial Cost-Share Acquisition Project|
| H-GAC's GIS Program has announced the kick-off of the next aerial imagery cost-share acquisition project. Imagery is flown for the 13-county H-GAC region in 1 foot resolution and color infrared, along with certain areas in 6 inch resolution. |

2015 Regional Salary and Benefits Survey available
| The Regional Salary and Benefits Survey is now available. The survey results include a summary of all positions, the lowest and highest salaries reported, number of cities and incumbents for each position surveyed for all participating cities.|
Participants that responded to the survey will receive a free electronic and printed copy. Non-participants may buy an electronic copy for $25 or a bound copy for $45.

H-GAC currently manages a suite of business loan programs including the Drayage Loan Program, Small Business Administration 504, and the Economic Development Administration Revolving Loan Fund.
The Drayage Loan Program
helps short haul trucking companies/owner-operators purchase fuel-efficient and cleaner running trucks. More information can be found here.

provides long-term business expansion financing for real estate, construction, and equipment purchases. Additional information is available online

The agenda and attachments for the Board of Directors meetings are posted on our website the week before each meeting. Board meetings are held at 10:00 a.m. on the third Tuesday of each month on the second floor at 3555 Timmons Lane, Houston, Texas 77027.
