H-GAC To Stop Issuing Vouchers on May 9
To-date, we have issued more than 10,000 Drive A Clean Machine vouchers for the Houston-Galveston area. On May 9, 2008, we expect to exceed our 2008 allocation for funds, and we will have to stop issuing new vouchers.
- If we received your application before May 9th, we will continue to process it and let you know if you are eligible or not. If our funds run out before we can issue a voucher to you, we will place you on our wait-list.
- H-GAC will continue to accept new applications for a limited time. We will place applicants who are eligible on a wait-list on a first-come, first-served basis. If funds become available to us, we will issue vouchers to applicants on the wait-list in the order we received their applications.
- If you already have one of our vouchers, or we issued one for you before May 9th, we will honor it through the expiration date shown on the voucher. Please work through your participating dealership or recognized emissions repair facility to replace or repair your vehicle by the voucher expiration date.
- We should receive funds for the next voucher funding cycle in September, 2008.
