Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) such as oil based paints, motor oil, pesticides and lead-acid batteries present a real disposal challenge. While these wastes constitute only a small percentage of the residential waste stream, the potential damage from improper disposal is significant.
H-GAC's HHW Collection, Transportation and Disposal Contract
H-GAC has contracted with Philip Services Corporation for the collection, transportation and disposal of household hazardous waste (HHW) within the H-GAC region. The contract will cover both permanent HHW facilities and one-day collection events. You can download a copy of the pricing scenario sheet here.
For more information regarding the contract, please contact Gena McKinley with H-GAC by telephone (713-993-4529) or email (gena.mckinley@h-gac.com).
