Community enhancement grants are used to create livable centers, improve pedestrian and bicyclist transportation, improve regional urban forests, and expand regional parks and natural areas.

  • Foresight Panel on Environmental Effects

    In 2007 the H-GAC Board of Directors established the "Foresight Panel on Environmental Effects" from experts in climate change and local infrastructure planning. These experts were tasked with developing recommendations for local governments to adapt to potential changes in the region's climate and associated environmental effects.
