The Finance and Budget Committee is chaired by the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors. The Committee reviews H-GAC's contracts, budget, and personnel policies and presents recommendations to the Board of Directors.
The Emergency/Trauma Care Planning Committee has oversight of the Emergency/Trauma Care Policy Council. The Committee reports to the Board of Directors.
The Water Resources Committee studies water resources across the region and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors.
The Election Committee is composed of former Chairs of the Board of Directors. The Committee presents nominations for each officer position on the Board and canvasses the ballots at the Annual Meeting.
The Projects Review Committee reviews fund or program requests from all areas of the region for the Texas Review and Comment System. The Committee's recommendations are presented to the Board of Directors.
The Planning Committee studies long-range and strategic planning for the agency and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors.
The Legislative Committee studies state and federal legislation that may have an impact on the region and reports to the Board of Directors.
The Audit Committee makes recommendations to the Board of Directors regarding selection of an Independent Auditor each year. The Committee also reviews the independent audit prior to its presentation to the Board.
