PURPOSE:

To implement Small Business Administration Section 504 loan program. This program makes long-term moderate interest loans to eligible small businesses for financing on fixed assets.

MEMBERSHIP
REQUIREMENTS:

27-31 members approved by H-GAC Board of Directors as follows:

14    at least 1 from each county represented on the H-GAC Board except Harris County, which has at least 2 representatives
13    from local government, private business organizations, lending institutions and community organizations dedicated to economic development (there must be at least one representative from each of these disciplines)

MEETS:

At least twice annually
