MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS:

Up to 31 primary members, appointed by the H-GAC Board of Directors. Each member should have a designated alternate which is also appointed the H-GAC Board of Directors. Alternate members should represent the same interest group as his/her primary counterpart. The term of alternates shall be concurrent with the term of his/her counterpart. Member composition must include representatives from law enforcement, prosecution, courts, corrections, juvenile justice, victim services, drug abuse prevention, mental health and education. This committee must maintain a good mix of representation from all disciplines. No discipline or interest group can have the majority of member representation.
